Born in Spokane, Washington, Hannah Pomante is an environmental artist who explores the various ways in which to portray the natural world around us.
Hannah attended Whitworth University, earning a degree in the two-dimensional arts and minors in environmental studies and art history. Currently, she resides as the Artist-in-Residence at Spokane Art School, working on her printmaking and teaching classes. She has won multiple awards, which include winning the 42 Annual Superintendent’s Art Show in Washington, as well as recently receiving a Spokane Arts Grant Award. Her latest grant project was a large-scale eco-friendly moveable bird nest. It was transported throughout the area, bringing art and nature to the youth of Spokane.
